Angela believes that healing comes in many ways and that a holistic approach, encompassing physiotherapy, is one way to better one's quality of life.
Be it healing and treating of current injuries, muscular pre-op prep and post-op recovery, or learning to move optimally, Angela hopes to improve their patient's lives effectively.
Originally from Malaysia, Angela works as a pharmacist at Otago University and in a community pharmacy.
In 2017, Angela and Joshua had the opportunity to start their own clinic, and haven't looked back since.
Angela and the team at Focus Physio believe that treatment is not just physical, but also mental, emotional, and for many, spiritual.Outside of work, Angela and Joshua have two children together, Hannah and Joseph, and love indoor bouldering and traveling together as a family. Angela also enjoys reading and podcasts, arts and craft, and is currently learning the piano!
Angela had lived in 7 different towns by the time she was 12.
